GigaRACE challenges members from Gigamon authorised partners to test their knowledge against each other.
Contestants must have a comprehensive understanding of Gigamon, ranging from the positioning of our products and solutions, to how we address competition and objections, as well as general knowledge of security.
To become the GigaRACE champion, participants must be quick-thinking, analytical and security experts.
This prestigious event comprises of four stages of quizzes with top performing teams proceeding to the next stage. It culminates in the Grand Finals, which is held live on stage during Gigamon Chinese New Year Lou Hei Dinner celebration.
The excitement as the teams fight for the Grand Prize in suspense-filled contest forges a strong bond in the channel network.

Each team comprises of 2 contestants.

Each team must comprise of two members from the same partner organisation. No substitution is allowed during the course of the competition.
Each contestant cannot register in multiple teams.
There is no limit to the number of teams from each partner organisation.
Each team must be registered by 10th November 2023, 5:00pm SGT to qualify.
Each team must have a unique team name.
This quiz is only open to registered partners from the countries listed – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, India and Vietnam. The top performing 2 teams from each country will qualify for the semi-finals.
Gigamon has the discretion to change any of the rules, terms, venue, prizes or any other aspect of the GigaRACE challenge.
Gigamon, in its sole discretion, may choose to may reject or accept any quiz result if Gigamon believes any cheating or non-compliance with the rules has occurred.
The Qualifying Round comprises of four sets of quizzes which are made available in sequential weeks as follows:
Each quiz is comprised of 30 Multiple-choice questions and must be completed in 45 minutes.
Each question carries 1 point.
The top performing two teams from each country will qualify for the semi-finals, subject to the team fulfilling the minimum score of 40 points to a maximum total score of 120 points.
All participants will be notified of the results via email on 8th December 2023.

All qualified finalists will be provided with the following at the Gigamon Chinese New Year Lou Hei Dinner celebration.
1 return trip ticket to Singapore
1-night accommodation on a twin-share basis
Gigamon Channel Account Managers (CAMs) will coordinate with finalists for their travel arrangements (flight and hotel), and VISA applications where applicable.
For the avoidance of doubt, all participants are required to pay for their own transport and any other expenses applicable. Gigamon will only be providing the items listed above.
The Semi-final Round comprises 30 MCQ questions which are made available on:
The quiz is to be submitted within 45 minutes.
The results of the top 4 finalists will be announced via email on 15th December 2023.
The Final is to be held live on stage at the Gigamon Chinese New Year Lou Hei Dinner celebration.
The Finals comprise two (2) knock-out rounds.
Round 1
4 Finalist teams assemble on stage at their station.
There are 10 questions in this round.
Quiz Master will read each question, after which the teams have 10 seconds to discuss and present their answers.
Points are awarded for the right answers.
In the case of a tie, there will be tiebreaker questions.
The lowest-scoring team will exit the quiz. The top 3 teams will remain on stage and continue into Round 2.
Round 2
There are 10 questions in this round.
Quiz Master will read each question, after which the teams have 10 seconds to discuss and present their answers.
Points are awarded for the right answers.
In the case of a tie, there will be tiebreaker questions.
The lowest-scoring team will exit the quiz. The top 2 teams will remain on stage and continue into the final round.
Final round
There are 10 questions in this round.
Unlike the previous 2 rounds, the format is based on “Fastest Trigger”. Once the Quizmaster starts reading the question, either team can answer the question at any time by pressing the buzzer, and without waiting for the Quizmaster to complete the question.
Once the buzzer is pressed, the Quizmaster will stop reading the question. If the answer provided is wrong, the Quizmaster will commence reading the question and the other team will have a chance to answer that question.
In the case of a tie, there will be tiebreaker questions.
The team with the highest score at the end of this round will be declared the GigaRACE Champion.
Participants or their guests are not a government entity or affiliated with a government entity.
Attendance of Participants or their guests is not in exchange for new or continued business with Gigamon or any improper benefit.
If Participant is attending GigaRACE on behalf of his or her employer, then Participant hereby represents that he or she has fully disclosed the nature of this event to the appropriate people with his or her employer, and has ensured his or her participation in GigaRACE on these terms does not violate any policy of his or her employer or any law, and, to the extent required by his or her employer’s policies, has ensured that his or her employer has approved of Participant’s participation in GigaRACE.
All Participants are required to acknowledge and agree to the Rules and Regulations, and General Liability and Release Waiver Agreement as stated on www.gigamonapac.com/gigarace2023 upon registration.
To be eligible for this competition, contestants must be current employees from Gigamon’s authorised distributors and partners from the following countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, India and Vietnam.
To participate in this Challenge, contestants must have successfully registered and received a confirmation email of successful registration.
For all stages: all contestants must log into the GigaRACE portal during the stipulated quiz period to answer the questions.
